NIST Cybersecurity Framework

The NIST Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity (or “The Framework” for short) consists of standards, guidelines, and practices to promote the protection of critical infrastructure. It was created through collaboration between industry and government, and is published by Part of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The Framework was originally designed to foster risk and cybersecurity management communications among both internal and external organizational stakeholders.
